welcome to Pinnacle Point
Mossel Bay is a small harbor town on the Garden Route in South Africa’s Western Cape Province.
It’s known for the white sand Santos Beach and views over the wide Bay and mountains, the 19th-century Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse, the Post Office Tree, a milkwood tree which has been used as a mail collection point since the 1500s.
And the Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex with a replica of Bartolomeu Dias Caravel. He was the first to sail around the Tip of Africa to land the 4th February 1488 in Mossel Bay. The Point of Mossel Bay boasts the worlds longest over the Ocean Zipline, 1150m long. Advanced booking recommended.
Just 150m from the entrance of Pinnacle Point is the Garden Route Casino with bars and restaurants.
Next to Mossel Bay is The Botlierskop Game Reserve
The Botlierskop is named after one of the spectacular rock formations on the reserve. It is a well stocked, free roaming private game reserve, which gives visitors the opportunity to view South African wildlife from the safety of 4×4 vehicles.
